As we well know, the school year is coming to an end and Summer 2019 is rapidly approaching. If you’re anything like me, you’ve been busy and waited until the last possible second to decide what your school aged child will do during the long summer vacation. Of course, we have some family vacations planned, she may spend a few days with the grandparents and that kind of thing, but when you’re a working parent chances are you don’t also get several weeks off. So, in order to prevent child boredom (which if you ask my 7-year-old can be dang near lethal), and to partially save your own sanity, you might consider some summer camps to provide some much-needed entertainment and maybe a bit of education too!

We happen to be a part of the NEISD school district and at Bulverde Creek Elementary they do offer a really neat pay-by-the-week camp where they can play outside,  do activities and go on field trips, but here are just a few other local summer camp options around San Antonio that may be worth looking into!
